he said that, was not even allowed to visit Kuakata as a tourist during the fascist Awami government. For the past fifteen and a half years, people of anti-political ideologies have not been allowed to visit popular tourist destinations like Kuakata to see the blessings of Allah
He also said that, the popular tourist places like Kuakata in the country have been destroyed by partisanship. Scholars and Ulamas have been arrested several times even when they came to program without any banner in this Kuakata. The Awami police arrested the clerics at that time in Kuakata.
The countrymen saw that Sheikh Hasina had a taste for becoming the chief minister of another country from Bangladesh. That hope was ended by the student crowd with blood on August 5. The students have said that the country will run on merit and competence.
Dr. Masud said, we have got a free and independent Bangladesh in exchange for the blood of numerous martyrs in the mass uprising of the students. In this movement, many people have become crippled, lost their eyes and become blind. Now we want to build this country. We want to build this tourist center as one of the most popular tourist cities in the country.
(Wednesday, September 25) He said this in the speech of the chief guest at the staff conference of Kuakat branch of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Kalapara Upazila South Zone (Mahipur Thana)- 2024.
Kuakat Town Ameer Maulana Moinul Islam Mannan presided over the conference as a special guest and other Jamaat leaders including Shura member in Central Majlis and Patuakhali District Ameer Professor Muhammad Shah Alam.
Dr. Shafiqul Islam Masud said, the days of extortion are over, Bangladesh of possibilities, the days of usurpers are over, Bangladesh of possibilities. No government has been able to prove a single rupee of corruption against any leader of Jamaat-e-Islami. Only honest people are involved in the politics of Jamaat-e-Islam.
He also said that, the past dictatorship Awami government has destroyed the tourism industry of Bangladesh. The deposed dictator Hasina government hanged the top leaders of Jamaat for fulfilling their dream of turning Bangladesh into an empire of corruption.
