Solving waterlogging and drainage problems: When it rained for hours at a time, the Mirpur area was submerged in water. Due to drainage problems, rainwater cannot be discharged quickly and this waterlogging occurs.So far, no far-reaching plan can be seen to solve this problem. The concerned authorities should immediately take appropriate action in this regard.
Control of law and order situation: Incidents of theft, robbery and dacoity have increased in the Mirpur area since the uprising, which has terrified the common people. Stop all types of terrorist activities, start separate special helpline numbers in each police station and ensure immediate assistance to consumers.
Resolving Gas and Electricity Confusion: In different areas of Mirpur region, there is a long-term continuity of gas shortage in homes and stoves. Cooking gas is not available in houses. There is no electricity most of the day.But gas bill and electricity bill have to be paid at the end of the month. Concerned authorities should take quick measures to solve the problem of gas and electricity.
Illegal footpath encroachment, public transport crisis and traffic congestion: Keep footpaths clear by clearing footpaths, rehabilitate hawkers. Introduce modern traffic system by controlling vehicles and freeing illegal parking.
There is no end to the suffering of children, women, elderly people, office goers due to the crisis of public transport during office hours, during classes of educational institutions. And the cost of transportation is increasing. City life is often brought to a standstill by heavy traffic. Thousands of working hours of people are wasted in traffic jams.
This situation cannot be resolved. Sometimes a 20 minute journey is completed in less than 3 hours. Fix the above problems quickly.
