Kazi Habib: Remembrance meeting and doa mahfil was held to seek forgiveness of former Bangladesh national volleyball team captain Minhaj Ali Khan. The meeting and prayers were held on the initiative of the Volleyball Players Welfare Association on the afternoon of September 10. In 1978, he served as the captain of the Bangladesh national volleyball team in the Asian Games held in Thailand.It should be noted that Minhaj Ali Khan passed away on September 5 due to complications. Volley spoke as the chief guest at the memorial meeting, recalling the memory of the illustrious sports life of the deceased Federation General Secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku, Volleyball Player Welfare Association President Zahirul Islam Chowdhury, Azizur Rahman General Secretary, National Volleyball Team Jahangir Alam, Bimal Chandra Bhulu, Sohail Hossain Dollar, Abdul Hakim Mukta etc. Current and former volleyball players, sports organizers, sports fans and well-wishers were present in the Smriti Charan ceremony.
