Staff Reporter : Md. Mojibur Rahman was elected Sports Secretary in Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Executive Committee Election-2025. He was elected to this position for the fourth time.
On Saturday (November 30), the DRU elections were held. Later that evening, Chief Election Commissioner MA Aziz announced the results.
According to the announced results, Md. Mojibur Rahman of The Morning News won the post of Sports Editor of DRU by getting 795 votes. His closest rival Maksuda Lisa got 525 votes.
Earlier, polling took place in a festive atmosphere from 9 am to 5 pm. In this election, the candidates were elected unopposed in four posts against a total of 21 posts. 31 people contested the remaining 17 posts..
