Since Savar Upazila has the highest number of voters in Bangladesh, the process of updating the voter list by going door to door for the seventh time has started today.

The Chief Election Commissioner and the Election Commissioners inaugurated the voter list update program at Savar Upazila Parishad Auditorium of Dhaka District on Monday afternoon.
Election Commissioner, Dhaka Divisional Commissioner, Dhaka Range DIG along with senior officials of Election Commission Secretariat were present in the event.
Senior Assistant Secretary of EC Election Support Branch. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury informed, after the completion of the data collection work, the work of completing the photo registration will begin from February 5. The registration process will continue till April 11. Savar upazila executive officer Abu Bakkar Sarkar and land officials were present at this time. Senior officials of the administration were also present.
