Kazi Habib: Chapainawabganj Battalion (53 BGB) of BGB conducts special operations at Charbagdanga border. A drug dealer named Sakhawat Hossain (32) was arrested with 3.3 kg of heroin and 2 lakh 50 thousand in cash. A joint task force operation was conducted in Kantapara village of Charbagdanga Union of Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila on Thursday morning under the leadership of BGB and in coordination with Narcotics Control Directorate. In the said operation, a person named Md Sakhawat Hossain was arrested and 3.3 kg of heroin worth Tk 66 lakh and cash of Tk 2 lakh 50 thousand were recovered from him. The arrested Sakhawat is the son of Abdul Qayyum of Kantapara village. He has been handed over to Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station along with seized heroin and cash for taking legal action against him.
